Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Satria Technologies Private Limited (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Taskaid AI(the “Service”), one of the Company's products. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.

Information We Collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive your name, email address, and profile image.
  • Content you create. The data you add to the Service, including your tasks, lists, notes, calendar events, daily plans, and the messages you send to the AI assistant.
  • Billing information. Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details; we retain limited billing records such as your subscription status and a customer identifier.
  • Technical and usage data. Information collected automatically when you use the Service, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and aggregate usage metrics.
  • Settings. Preferences such as your time zone, which we use to show your tasks and events correctly.

How We Use Your Information

  • to provide, maintain, and operate the Service for you;
  • to power AI features you choose to use (see “AI Features” below);
  • to process subscriptions, trials, and payments;
  • to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug and fix problems;
  • to respond to your support requests; and
  • to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations.

AI Features

When you use the AI assistant, the content needed to answer your request (such as relevant tasks, notes, and your messages) is sent to our AI providers, OpenAI and Anthropic, to generate a response. We use these providers under enterprise/business agreements that prohibit them from using your content to train their models or for any purpose other than returning the response to us. Your content is not used to train AI models.

MCP Server and Connected AI Platforms

Taskaid AI offers a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets you connect your account to third-party AI platforms (such as Claude and ChatGPT) and other compatible clients using OAuth-based, scoped access. When you connect:

  • We access and process only the Taskaid AIdata necessary to fulfill the specific request you make, limited to the OAuth scopes you grant (for example, reading or writing your tasks, events, or plans). You can review and revoke a client's access at any time.
  • We do not collect, store, or use extraneous conversation data from the connected platform, including for logging, and we do not access that platform's memory, chat history, conversation summaries, or files you upload to it.
  • We do not use data exchanged through the MCP server to train AI models or for any purpose other than fulfilling your request and operating the Service.
  • Once data is shared with a connected platform or client, that party's own privacy policy governs its handling of the data, not this one.

Service Providers and Sub-processors

We share information with a limited set of providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service:

  • Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly usage analytics;
  • Google — authentication (sign-in);
  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • OpenAI and Anthropic — AI assistant features, under enterprise terms with no use of your data for model training; and
  • MongoDB Atlas — database hosting for your account and content.

These providers are bound by agreements that limit their use of your data to providing services to us.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate, privacy-friendly usage. We do not use advertising cookies, interest-based or cross-site advertising tracking, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with the service providers listed above; when required by law or to respond to valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and security of the Company, our users, or the public; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this Policy.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

Our providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
