Changelog
The Taskaid API
Your tasks, lists and daily plans now have a REST API, with API keys you create in Settings for your own scripts.
- Create an API key in Settings, read only or read and write, and revoke it whenever you like.
- Read and change tasks, lists and daily plans over HTTPS and JSON.
- The API docs cover signing in, errors and every endpoint.
Assistants have reached your tasks through the MCP server for a while. The API opens the same tasks, lists and daily plans to anything else that speaks HTTP, such as a script of your own, a shortcut on your phone or a sync with another tool.
An API key is for your own scripts. It has a name, so you can tell your keys apart, and the access you chose, and it's shown only once. Apps built for other people sign them in with OAuth instead, the way assistants already do. The API's OpenAPI description, at taskaid.ai/openapi.json, loads straight into API clients such as Postman.
