Changelog
Lists have notes
A list can now carry a short note saying what it is for, which assistants see whenever they look up your lists.
- Write the note on the list's page, under its name.
- Assistants can read every list's note, and write one when you ask.
- A note holds up to 500 characters. Detail about one task still belongs in that task's note.
A list used to be only a name and an emoji, so an assistant filing a task had the name to go on and nothing more. A note says the rest in your own words: what the list is for, what belongs in it and how its tasks are handled. Write it under the list's name, or ask an assistant to write it for you.
Assistants see the note whenever they look up your lists, the same way they see the name. It stays short so it can be taken in at a glance, and as you near 500 characters the page shows how many are left.
