Find and link work
Assistants can find tasks by words or reference, then return stable links to tasks and daily plans.
- Find a task by words or a reference such as
TASKAID-45. - Tasks and dated daily plans each have their own stable page in Taskaid.
- When an assistant reads or updates one, it receives the URL to hand back to you.
A reference like TASKAID-45 is not written anywhere in the task itself — the number is a column and the prefix is added for display — so searching for one used to return whatever happened to read like it. A reference is now a lookup: ask for 45 and you get task 45.
The daily plan got an address at the same time. It used to be a page fixed to whatever today was, so nothing could point at a particular day; each day's plan now has its own dated URL.
Assistants receive those links along with the work, so they can hand you back the page.
