MCP made Taskaid reachable from any client that could take a server address. ChatGPT asks less of you than that: Taskaid is in the apps directory, so adding it is a search and a click, with nothing to paste.
What the assistant gets back changed too. Every tool now declares the shape of its answer, so ChatGPT reads your tasks as data rather than picking them out of a block of text, and each tool says whether it only reads or can change something.
The connection is still yours to approve. Signing in shows what the app is asking for before you grant it.
